Every referral is guided by our commitment to meeting individual needs through a thorough matching process, ensuring the best outcomes for all involved.

Emergency Placements

BetterOasis, we are dedicated to creating safe spaces where every child and young person can heal, grow, and flourish.

We provide targeted support for vulnerable children and young people, including emergency referrals. Decisions are made collaboratively between the Regional Manager, Managing Director, and Registered Manager, balancing the immediate needs of the individual with those of existing residents.

As trauma-informed practitioners, we assess the impact of placement transitions to ensure the young person receives the care they need while minimising potential trauma. Even in urgent situations where documentation is incomplete, we work alongside placing authorities to conduct a safe, needs-based assessment.
