£24,960 per annum + £50 per night sleep-in payment.

About the role

Step into a leadership role as a Senior Care Support Worker at BetterOasis. You’ll supervise junior staff, manage daily operations, and act as a key worker for children, helping them build life skills and confidence.

Your responsibilities include overseeing care plans, activity schedules, and safeguarding procedures while supporting young people’s emotional and physical needs. You’ll chair team meetings, provide guidance to staff, and liaise with external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in your care.

This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. You’ll be an advocate for children’s well-being and development, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience supervising teams and leading initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and equality principles.
  • Ability to support trauma-affected children with empathy and resilience.
