Manage a 16+ young person’s home for Looked After Children (LAC) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers (UASC). Your role includes fostering partnerships with local authorities.

About the role

Manage a 16+ young person’s home for Looked After Children (LAC) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers (UASC). Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, supervise staff, and oversee care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain a culture of safety, manage risks, and serve as the Ofsted-registered manager.

Your role includes fostering partnerships with local authorities, managing budgets, and implementing quality assurance measures to achieve high standards of care. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic team and shape the lives of young people positively.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or related qualification).
  • Extensive experience working with LAC in residential settings.
  • Proven managerial experience and knowledge of Ofsted standards.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
