To work as a member of the homes staff team to safeguard children and provide then with the necessary support, care and guidance to enable them to live a positive and meaningful life as they approach adulthood.

Starting £23 040.00 per annum Dependent on qualifications and experience, plus a £50 per night Sleep-in Payment

About the role

Become a Support Worker at BetterOasis and play a vital role in supporting young people on their journey to adulthood. You’ll provide essential care and guidance, creating a nurturing environment that helps children feel safe and valued.

From supporting daily routines to teaching life skills, you’ll contribute to each young person’s growth and independence. Your role includes promoting emotional regulation, risk management, and restorative practices to help children overcome challenges and achieve their potential.

Working within a supportive team, you’ll follow Ofsted regulations, participate in care planning, and contribute to a culture of safety and inclusion. No two days are the same, offering you the chance to make a lasting impact.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children and young people.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and equality principles.
  • Willingness to obtain an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Empathy, resilience, and the ability to adapt to challenges.
